The Governors are seeking an excellent class teacher who is a current or aspiring leader to join the school in Upper Key Stage Two. The post involves exemplary class teaching and being part of our Senior Leadership Team, leading a team of four classes in years five and six. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of primary education and who will be able to embody the core values of the school whilst ensuring the children achieve their very best. This is an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills within a strong and supportive staff team in an exciting, vibrant and popular school. The successful candidate will prioritise modelling excellent teaching and learning, building strong relationships and connections with both children and adults and will have the vision, passion and drive to achieve excellent outcomes for all pupils. They will model a positive outlook on a daily basis and will encourage all children to aspire and ‘dream big’. They will also: - Have the skills to lead a team to achieve excellent outcomes for the children and themselves. - Be keen to engender a calm sense of support, nurture and care for our children. - Have a passion for inspiring learners through exciting and innovative curriculum experiences. - Have high aspirations, resilience and determination to ensure our provision is of the highest standard. - Be motivated to be part of Senior Leadership Team steering continuous improvement for the school. - Have a desire to develop their own skills and career progression and be part of the whole life of the school. - Be committed to inclusion and be flexible and adaptable to be able to meet the varied needs of our children. - Be a positive role model for the children. - Be committed to raising attainment and improving outcomes for children. - Be a team player who is comfortable with sharing responsibility across the year group.
