About the role

Howden School is seeking to appoint a part time Teacher of French to join our MFL Department. About the Role As a Teacher of MFL, you will: consistently deliver high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the Academy. You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 French. Classroom teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times. About You The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge along with a record of successful professional practice and be able to plan and deliver high quality teaching in a relevant specialist area. The successful candidate will also have experience of working with children and young people, an awareness of, and commitment to, safeguarding practices and behaviour management strategies.
