About the role

We are seeking a number of friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our growing team at Crown Street Primary School. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower pupils to reach their full potential.  Due to Crown Street Primary's unique location, there is no parking on site. However, there are Pay & Display bays on the surrounding roads of Great Jackson Street, which is where Crown Street Primary School is located. Public transport is excellent, with Crown Street Primary School being a 7-minute walk from Deansgate Train Station and Deansgate-Castlefield Tram Stop. We also offer interest free loans for the purchase of annual travel tickets.

Here at the Laurus Trust we are able to provide a cutting-edge SEND provision that has a positive impact on our young people, and we are currently looking to recruit caring and dedicated individuals to join our SEND team. You will play a vital role in enhancing pupils progress whilst promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. A comprehensive offer of professional learning is in place and we ensure that all schools have designated work spaces for staff. A broad range of training in SEND is in place across all our schools focused on whole school SEND issues as well as specific training for SEND teams. If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can then we would love to hear from you.  This position is contracted on a 30 hours per week Term Time only + 5 days basis . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.  We have two shifts available, please specify within your application which shift you are applying for: Core Day Shift: 08.45am - 3.15pm - This includes support during the school day and support at lunchtime. Late Shift: 11.30am - 5.30pm - This includes support during the school day, support at lunchtime and then working in our After-School Club Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below) To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment. To provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground activities.  Key Skills and Experiences Sound Educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests. Experience working in a school environment would
