We
are looking for friendly, approachable and calm individuals to join our team as a teaching & learning support practitioner. Previous experience of working
in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be an advantage. The
successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can build and
maintain successful working relationships with learners and treat them
consistently and with respect and consideration. Ideally
you will have or be working towards NVQ level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or
have an equivalent qualification or experience. A
minimum of Level 2 Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy is required for this
role Criteria Experience of advancing progress
of pupils
of relevant age within a learning
environment. Experience of managing
pupil behaviour
and supervising pupils
under an agreed system of supervision and processes for
integrated working. Experience of administering, assessing
and marking tests. Training in relevant learning strategies and specialist knowledge in a
particular curriculum area. Working towards Level
2 Basic Skills (Literacy and Numeracy) or equivalent competency NVQ 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience. Full driving license Friendly,
