5 Dimensions Trust is currently advertising for the following at Shenley Brook End School Assistant SENCO Permanent Hours: 37 per week, 39 weeks per year Term-Time plus training days Salary: Grade 7 £36,362 -39,862 pro rata, Actual - £31,554 - £34,592 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and efficient SEND specialist to join us as an Assistant SENCO at Shenley Brook End School. You will have had several years of experience in working with children with SEND in a school or relevant setting and have taken responsibility for carrying out cognitive and other screening tests which identify the support children may require. You will: Make a difference to the lives of our children and young people with SEND and ensure they make excellent progress at school Assist the SENCO and other school staff in ensuring Adaptive Teaching is an integral part of every lesson for all students, particularly those with identified SEN Effectively line manage and deploy Teaching Assistants/Coaches and physical resources within the department to support the SEN portfolio Build outstanding relationships with the families of SEND students Monitor and implement strategies to improve outcomes for SEND students across the school Lead on the early identification and assessment of pupils with SEND and Exam Access and Provision for all students with access arrangements Develop a programme of intervention and support for students with identified learning difficulties Support individual pupils and their families in the development of SEN Support Plans (SSPs) and with Requests for an Education, Health and Care Plan (REHCs) Work with the SENCO and Assistant SENCO Team Leader to ensure that provision for children with SEND at Shenley Brook End is exceptional As part of the 5 Dimensions Trust, successful candidates can benefit from working in a multi-academy trust that guarantees: Access to high quality training opportunities A culture where there is a strong focus on employee wellbeing Generous auto-enrolment pension schemes, LGPS and TPS Incremental and inflationary pay progression Bespoke CPD and support Flexible working opportunities and enhanced family leave Access to fitness suites on some school sites At the 5 Dimensions Trust, we believe that happy employees are the foundation of a thriving organisation.
