Part Time Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff to support pupils across a range of learning and personal care needs.

The post-holder will be required to:

Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, both within the classroom and in alternative settings as appropriate to the role.

Support pupils in accessing learning activities and educational programmes as directed.

Assist in the delivery of high-quality personal care for students who require additional support, ensuring dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times.

Support pupils with eating and drinking programmes in line with individual care plans.

Facilitate structured and engaging lunchtime activities that promote positive social interaction.

Assist pupils with changing requirements and support their access to the hydrotherapy pool.

Demonstrate a patient, respectful and professional approach to working with children and young people.

Be able to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from teaching and senior staff.

Show a commitment to promoting equality, independence and the welfare of pupils.
