About the role:
Deliver high-quality Design & Technology
lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students Support the department in raising and
maintaining high standards of student attainment and achievement Promote active learning, monitor progress, and
be accountable for student progress in Design & Technology Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging
learning environment, aligned with safeguarding practices Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum
development and participate in departmental activities, including trips and
open days.
We are seeking an individual who has:
A degree in a relevant subject and Qualified
Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience teaching or training in a
comprehensive school setting, covering Key Stages 3 and 4 Competence in teaching at least one of the
following to GCSE level: Design & Technology , Engineering. A strong understanding of safeguarding
practices, classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a safe
learning environment Emotional resilience, professionalism, and a
collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
