About the role

Queen Elizabeth High School wishes to appoint a teacher of Maths. The successful candidate’s timetable will potentially include GCSE and A-Level Maths classes. Our maths department is outstanding and achieves some of the best outcomes in the North-East. The subject is very popular in the school curriculum with up to 70 students each year choosing to study maths as one of their A Level options and a further 20 choosing further maths in the sixth form. We expect our teachers to have the necessary subject knowledge to teach high achieving A-Level students and the skills to be able to inspire, motivate and support all students whatever their needs or abilities. You would be joining a friendly and supportive team with a well-established collegial ethos. Queen Elizabeth High School is a friendly, welcoming, successful, mixed comprehensive with a proud history dating back to Elizabethan times.
