About the role

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 pro rata + TPS pension + additional benefits Based: Based across one (or more) of our regions - East/Midlands/London & South/South West with frequent travel to and between schools and to our central offices in London. Hours: 0.5 - 1.0 FTE depending on region(s) and circumstances: we are open to colleagues wishing to work part time or full time and keen to explore specific models that work for strong candidates.

About the role These exciting new roles sit at the heart of our school support team. Working closely with our schools within a region, each Regional English Leader will build capacity and expertise to ensure excellent English teaching, leadership and student outcomes across the region.

You will lead the implementation of our English strategy across the schools, providing expert support and guidance to English leaders and their teams. You will use your experience and leadership skills to drive improvements in standards and teaching in English.

Reporting to the National Lead for Secondary English as part of an exciting new team of Regional English Leaders, you will work alongside Regional Education Directors, Heads of Department, Principals and other school leaders. This is a highly influential role, combining vision, expertise and effective implementation to make a meaningful difference to thousands of children nationwide.

About you You are an experienced and credible secondary English leader with a strong track record of improving English outcomes and teaching. You hold significant expertise in effective English education. You are strategic, network-minded and passionate about ensuring excellence as standard.
