About the role

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant

Headteacher to join our senior leadership team and help shape the next phase of

our school’s development. This is an exciting opportunity to work

alongside the Head teacher to strengthen leadership capacity, further develop

high-quality teaching and learning, and ensure the very best outcomes for all

pupils. The role has been carefully designed to provide

clear and complementary leadership across the school, with the Assistant

Headteacher for Curriculum, Standards & Strategic Direction focusing on: Curriculum

development and subject leadership Assessment,

teaching and learning, and outcomes The role will contribute fully to whole-school

leadership, including school improvement, safeguarding and strategic

on the role and the strengths of the successful candidates, responsibilities

will include: Leading

key aspects of school improvement and the School Development Plan Driving

high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes Leading

a core subject (English or Mathematics) Supporting

and developing middle leaders Leading

and supporting staff professional development Promoting

a positive, inclusive and high-expectation school culture Acting

as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead Contributing

to the day-to-day leadership of the school

You will:

improvement, including raising the quality of teaching and learning beyond your
