As a History Teacher at Priesthorpe, you will journey with our students through years of history, helping them see how change, continuity, conflict, and peace shape our world. Our approach is rooted in the latest educational research, and we are looking for a teacher who can embed high-impact strategies, such as those found in Teach Like a Champion (TLAC) . Rigour and Inclusion: You will use techniques like No Opt Out and Cold Call to ensure our commitment to inclusion is met, giving every student an equal chance to succeed. Support Mastery: Use evidence-based strategies like retrieval practice, interleaving, and the 'I do, We Do, You Do' model to move students from novices to experts. Check for Understanding: Integrate opportunities to skillfully check understanding such as effective questioning and active observation.
