Salary: Teacher

Scales. Contract: Maternity,

full time. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position, expected to continue

until the return of the postholder or 31 August 2027, whichever is sooner. Closing Date: Thursday

7th May 2026 at 9am. Start Date: Assumed

role. What the role involves in a nutshell: To deliver high quality

curriculum provision through effective teaching and learning of English. To carry out the professional

duties of a qualified teacher as identified in the DfE Teachers’ Standards. Set appropriate and demanding

expectations for students’ learning, motivation, and presentation of work. Set high expectations for

student behaviour to create a purposeful working atmosphere and a safe and

respectful classroom environment that supports the learning of all students. What
