Park High School have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher

of Dance and Drama to join our existing Performing Arts team on a full-time

basis.

We are looking for someone who has

a strong knowledge of dance and

drama and a commitment to ensuring a challenging and enriching curriculum. You

should have previous experience in teaching Dance and Drama in an educational

setting and you should hold a relevant recognised degree or equivalent.

As

a Teacher of Dance and Drama, you main responsibilities will be:

To contribute to the continued

development of the department To teach the dance and drama

curriculums across years 7-11 To monitor and support the overall

progress and development of students To facilitate and encourage a

learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve the

very best To contribute to raising standards

of student attainment and progress especially at Key Stage 4 To share and support the school to

provide opportunities for personal and academic growth To set expectations for staff and

students To maintain excellent behaviour

using with the school procedures and to support high standards of work and

homework To update your own professional

knowledge and expertise with developments in teaching practice and methodology
