North Ridge High School · Manchester, North West
We welcome applications from teachers who have been
trained to teach in primary schools as well as secondary, in both SEN and
mainstream settings
What we are looking for:
The leadership team and school governors seek to
appoint a dynamic, hard working individual who will live up to our school motto
of “do your best”. The suitable candidate to this post will be able to teach
pupils with a range of learning disability and associated needs. The
successful applicant will benefit from working in a school wth a positive,
caring, ethos where team work is important.
What will this look like for you?
Step into a role where every day is an opportunity to
spark curiosity, ignite creativity, and shape futures!
As a teacher at North Ridge, you’ll lead your own class
or a small group of classes (similar to a primary school model) tailored to
your unique strengths and passions. Our students range in ability from Early
Years to Year 3, and your teaching will be dynamic, hands-on, and imaginative.
You’ll bring learning to life through active, practical lessons delivered via a
spiral curriculum that builds and reinforces knowledge through repetition and
exploration.
If you're not an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you’ll
also take on the exciting challenge of being a curriculum coordinator—leading
whole-school development in a subject area. You’ll be supported by a team of
experienced, enthusiastic professionals and benefit from our staff development
and training programme designed to help you flourish.
But your impact goes far beyond the classroom...
You’ll play a vital role in helping our pupils grow
into confident young adults, being as independent as possible depending on
their needs. You will equip them with the social and life skills they need to
thrive in their communities. At the heart of your work will be a commitment to
nurturing each child’s individuality and zest for life.
This is more
than teaching. It’s transformation. It’s heart. It’s hope.
