The Role You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level English Literature. You will be expected to contribute to the collaborative approach that we take as a team, both in terms of our curriculum planning and of our coaching culture. The Team The English Team boasts a wealth of diverse experience. Our team members include the Assistant Headteachers for Teaching and Learning and for Inclusion; a Reading and Literacy Tutor, as well as a KS2 trained teacher who leads on our transition from Year 6. The English Department has its own ‘block’, being based in a stand-alone building with a work room, offices and a library. The library is a hub of reading and independent learning during lunchtimes, and it is run by our student librarians.
