About the role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-qualified Head of House. The successful candidate will be responsible for the pastoral leadership of a house within our pastoral team, oversee the care and support of students from year 7 to 11 and will lead a team of dedicated tutors in raising achievement, managing behaviour, improving attendance and continuing to develop the House identity. The Carlton Academyis part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member ofRedhill College of Leadership and Developmentand as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regionalTeaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
