Class Teacher & EYFS Lead

Parkfield Community School is seeking to appoint an experienced Class Teacher & EYFS Lead. Duties will include: - Having high expectations and aspirations for our pupils. Planning and preparing learning for pupils. Teaching, according to their educational needs, the pupils assigned to her/him including the setting and providing feedback of work carried out by those pupils in school and elsewhere. Providing a stimulating classroom environment which encourages pupils to become independent learners. Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress and attainment achieved by those pupils. Communicating and consulting, in accordance with current guidelines and circulars, with the parents of the pupils she/he is assigned to teach. Provide strong leadership, direction and management to ensure sustained improvement across the Early Years Foundation Stage. Enable EYFS staff to deliver high-quality practice so that children achieve the highest possible standards. Lead the development, implementation and review of EYFS policies and practices in line with continuous school improvement priorities. Support and contribute to staff development and professional learning related to EYFS practice. Share in and support the leadership of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and whole-school improvement.
