About the role

Marshland High School are seeking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant (APSA), to join their friendly team. Start Date:  ASAP Salary:  Scale C, Point 5, £13.26/hour, approx. £16,280/year (Full Time Equivalent £25,185 – please note that the salary for this role will be pro rata) Hours:  27.5 hours/week, 39 weeks/year (term time +1) Email:   recruitment@westnorfolkacademiestrust.co.uk Marshland High School:  https://www.marshlandhigh.co.uk/ Purpose of the Job To work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. Provide support to pupils so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. To manage the provision of support for students with special educational needs implementing the strategies and advice included in the pupil’s Education, Health and Care Plan or Learning Profile and contribute to termly and annual reviews. You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to set high expectations in order to motivate and inspire and a real commitment to achieving the very highest of standards.
