Flexible working and job‑share opportunities will be considered for the right candidate(s). As a Teacher of Design and Technology, specialisms to include Food and Resistant Materials, you will deliver challenging, inclusive lessons that secure the progress of all learners. We strive to inspire students through rigorous design and make activities that encourage the pupils to use their imagination and creativity, solving real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values. The faculty has its own computer suite, and the workshops are equipped with a combination of traditional tools, laser and digital technology. All students at Deer Park follow a modular programme in Design Technology in Key Stage 3 and a large proportion of our pupils choose to pursue a Design subject in Key Stage 4.
