About the role

If you are enthusiastic,

innovative, committed, conscientious and motivated to teach pupils with severe

learning difficulties then this is the opportunity for you. We look at barriers

as obstacles to be overcome rather than reasons to not attempt something that

is difficult and are very proud of the range of experiences our pupils have. We require a part-time (0.6) teacher who is able to lead a staff team and a small class of

pupils with a wide range of additional needs. We wish to appoint committed

professionals who are lively and have a positive personality to join us.

We welcome teachers with a variety of

backgrounds including teachers transferring from mainstream, ECT’s and those

with special needs experience. Experience is less important than aptitude and

enthusiasm. Every teacher gets an SEN allowance.

Visits to the school are

welcome and encouraged. If successful at short-listing, interviews to be held on Friday 15th May 2026.
