About the role

Kings Norton Nursery School are seeking a passionate and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in our 3 year-old provision for a one year fixed term contract in the first instance. The candidate will need to be a positive and flexible team member, working in an environment where everyone feels welcomed, safe, respected and valued. We are looking for a teaching assistant who can: Support small groups of children in our 3 year old provision. Work alongside teaching and support staff in order to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities for children. Work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff. Support with personal care, healthy eating, embedding nursery routines and speech and language. Ensure adequate supervision of the children at all times and deal with the needs of the children on a daily basis. Ensure that the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures are followed at all times.
