School Site Supervisor

Site Supervisor (Grade C) We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our site team. The Site Supervisor role is essential in ensuring that the school environment remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. This role also requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual to provide essential services for the school. The post holder will be required to work from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Fridays. Key Responsibilities Site Supervisor: Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure the school buildings and grounds are well maintained. Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door handles, and unblocking sinks. Ensure the effective operation of heating, lighting, and security systems. Maintain outdoor areas, including clearing pathways, managing waste disposal, and ensuring playgrounds and car parks are safe. Manage stock levels and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are replenished as needed. Act as a key holder, responsible for securing the premises and responding to any emergencies. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including COSHH requirements. Support with deep cleaning and site maintenance during school closures or holiday periods. This role requires a strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of site management.
