SEN TEACHER Overview We are looking to recruit a talented, kind and inspiring SEN teacher to work with our experienced and caring team. This post would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher, either with a background in primary or secondary education. We are looking for a candidate who can deliver quality first teaching to a range of students either within our newly formed Y7 primary model dept or across KS3-5. About you The successful candidate will have the following key competencies: a) Excellent classroom practitioner with a wide range of teaching skills: knowledge and understanding of teaching SEN across a broad spectrum of abilities; b) High level inter-personal skills enabling effective collaborative working; c) To be able to use classroom and behaviour management techniques effectively; d) Ability to work collaboratively with and implement the advice of specialists working within the school (e.g. Speech and Language Therapists) in their own classroom.
