Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in the early stages of their education and make a real difference in a vibrant and supportive school environment. As a Teaching Assistant at Berry Brow Infant and Nursery School, you will: Work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning across the Early Years and Key Stage 1. Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups of children, including those with additional needs. Help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all children can flourish. Support the development of children’s communication, language, social and emotional skills. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress. Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and ethos. We are looking for someone who: Has experience of working with young children, ideally within an infant or nursery setting. Is patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s learning development. Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills. Is proactive, flexible and able to use their initiative.
