Achievement Support Assistant

St Mary and St Joseph VC Academy are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to provide 1-1 support for a student in Key Stage 2. This role is vital in ensuring that every child, regardless of their barriers to learning, has the opportunity to thrive in a mainstream environment. Level 3 EYFS qualification essemtial 12.5 hours per week - term time only - fixed term until 31st August 2027 You will be the student’s champion—helping them navigate the curriculum, manage their emotions, and build the independence they need to succeed. About You We aren't just looking for a "helper"; we are looking for a collaborator. You should have: Resilience: The ability to stay calm and consistent, even on challenging days. Adaptability: A "quick-on-your-feet" mindset to change tactics if a lesson isn't clicking. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with teachers and families.
