About the role: We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant (additional needs) Support individual children sometimes within small groups, making the adjustments on a day-to-day basis to ensure access to a differentiated and highly personalised curriculum Be proactive and flexible in supporting the child’s needs Working closely with the SENCO to deliver a personalised programme of support to meet targets To support and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome To work collaboratively with several external agencies to draw upon skills, knowledge and recommendations to help support the child To support the child’s personal care and needs, including communication by following the Education Health Care Plans, and undergoing any relevant training Lunchtime supervision is included in this post We welcome applications from candidates seeking flexible working arrangements, including flexible hours or job-sharing options.
