About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Performing Arts to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract from September 2026 to June 2027 . The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students in drama, performance, and related creative disciplines.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to a thriving arts department and support students in developing confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging performing arts lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Prepare students for internal assessments and public performances.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports creative expression.

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as school productions, clubs, and showcases.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the arts faculty and across the school.
