About the Role At Avanti House Secondary School, PRE is central to developing pupils’ understanding of the world and their place within it. We are seeking a Teacher of PRE who can bring the subject to life through thoughtful teaching and a commitment to high standards. Deliver high-quality PRE lessons that are
well-planned, inclusive and adapted to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring
strong progress and outcomes. Use assessment effectively to monitor
attainment, provide clear feedback and shape teaching that builds on pupils’
prior knowledge and understanding.Create a safe, respectful and purposeful
learning environment, maintaining high expectations of behaviour, engagement
and pupil independence. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support
staff, parents and external partners to support pupils’ academic progress,
wellbeing and personal development. Contribute positively to the wider life, ethos
and safeguarding culture of the school, engaging fully in professional
development and school responsibilities.
What are we looking for?
