About the role

Salary: Band

B (NJC 3) Actual Salary: £2,821. Contract: Permanent,

term time only. Hours: 5

hours per week. Monday to Friday 12.00noon to 1.00pm. Closing Date: Friday

8th May 2026 at 9am. Start Date: 2nd

September 2026.

person to join our school, organising and supervising play for our pupils on

the school premises at lunchtime. We would like you to: Be proactive at promoting positive play for a calm and

purposeful playtime Be positive, with high expectations for children and their

behaviour. Have a passion for children’s learning and is

committed to the safeguarding of all our children. Be professional and hard working. Have good verbal communication skills in order to

liaise with children and other staff members. Have a ‘can do’ mentality and be able to embrace

change. What the role involves in a nutshell: Organising games and

activities to support pupils indoor & outdoor play. Interacting with

pupils to ensure a calm and purposeful playtime. Setting up/clearing

the dining hall. Supervising the

pupils in the dining hall. Working alongside the
