Marshland High School English Department is seeking a driven and enthusiastic  Teacher of English . They are looking for a candidate who strives for academic success, has a deep understanding of the curriculum and the ability to support and help our students reach their full potential. Marshland High School offers an excellent education to our students, with our school placed within the top 20% nationally for progress.  We are seeking an ambitious, passionate and imaginative English teacher to join and complement the friendly, supportive and dedicated professionals within our English department. The successful candidate will need to be a strong classroom practitioner and team player willing to teach English Language and English Literature at KS3 and KS4. Teaching and Learning Responsibilities   ●       To use a variety of delivery methods to stimulate learning, appropriate to student abilities. ●       To prepare and update subject materials. ●       To ensure a high-quality learning experience for students that meets internal and external quality standards. ●       Within the guidance presented in the school’s Assessment Policy and using appropriate I.T. systems, to assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students. ●       To take part in Parent/Carer Information Evenings. ●       Within the school’s marking and homework policy, to set and mark work appropriate to the needs of each student. To provide constructive feedback, particularly through live marking, to facilitate progression.
