Our Opportunity We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our team! In our Maths Department, you will be supported by our Head of Department and our Second in Maths. The team share a focus on giving pupils the best experience and outcomes. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and collaborative team. Maths is a popular A-Level subject, and every year we have students taking A-levels in maths and Further Maths and moving into maths-related degree subjects. Our pupils are welcoming, friendly, and have high ambitions for life beyond Whitby School. We are looking for a teacher who has: Qualified Teacher status. Experience as expert classroom practitioners. Evidence of good classroom practice. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills. A strong willingness to develop your own teaching and learning skills. A passion for teaching Maths with creative and flexible approaches for all key stages. Ambition to support, challenge and engage a diverse cohort of pupils and students, enriching their learning experience, maximising their potential and raising attainment. An interest in CPD.
