Primary Teacher Ready for a New Challenge? Weatherfield Academy is a 7-19 SEN Academy supporting pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties and additional needs. We teach in small classes of around 12 , allowing teachers to build strong relationships and deliver engaging, meaningful learning. We are looking for passionate, curious and committed teachers — from mainstream or special education backgrounds — who want to make a real difference. SEN experience is welcome but not essential ; full training and ongoing development will be provided. We’re seeking teachers who: Believe great teaching should be exciting, practical and hands-on Have a child-centred approach and high aspirations for young people Enjoy learning, reflecting, and developing their practice Are confident working with and managing support staff Want to play an active role in a collaborative school community This role is primarily class-based , with opportunities to develop expertise within SEND education and grow professionally.
