What

you’ll be doing

As

the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily

operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for

children.

This

is a unique opportunity to shape early years provision within a school

community, working closely with – and supported by – our experienced Head of

Early Years.

This

role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to early childhood

education, as well as the ability to effectively manage staff and communicate

with parents.

What we need from you

To take overall responsibility for the daily

operation of the nursery, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements,

safeguarding, and policies To lead, motivate and inspire a dedicated Nursery team To ensure all children are safe and receive rich,

engaging play and learning experiences linked to our Early Years Curriculum To maintain high standards of safeguarding, child

protection, and welfare To oversee health and safety procedures including

risk assessments, allergy management, and medication processes To prepare for and lead the team through regulatory

inspections, implementing any recommendations To induct, mentor and supervise staff, identifying

training needs and fostering strong teamwork To work collaboratively with the Head of Early

Years to continually develop and enhance provision To build positive, professional relationships with

parents and carers To support occupancy, community engagement and

nursery sustainability through effective budget management To be positive, resilient, flexible, and work well

in our happy team. To share Unity’s vision and the values of the Big

Life Group.
