School Operations Manager Required from ASAP Full time 37 hours per week Term time only plus 2 weeks Permanent Grade F points 20-24 (£32,597-£35,412 FTE per annum) £29,474.95-£32,020.34 Actual Salary per annum Pear Tree Community Junior School Pear Tree Community Junior School is seeking a skilled and organised Operations Manager to play a key role in the effective day-to-day running of our school. This is a pivotal position, supporting school leadership across finance, HR, site management, health and safety, and administrative operations. This role would suit a calm, capable professional with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy school environment and contributing to positive outcomes for children and staff. Key areas of responsibility include: Finance – supporting budget management, monitoring expenditure and ensuring value for money HR and Payroll – overseeing recruitment processes, HR administration and payroll accuracy Site Management and Health & Safety – ensuring the school site is safe, well-maintained and compliant Data and Administration – providing accurate information and reports to support strategic decision-making The Person We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively Confident in leading people, systems and processes Experienced in finance, HR and/or school operations Professional, reliable and solution-focused Values-driven and committed to supporting children and staff in line with our Trust, Care and Grow values Experience of working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
