in an inclusion, nurture, alternative or bespoke provision, either within or

alongside a mainstream school Experience of

supporting pupils who are emotionally disengaged, school‑refusing or struggling with anxiety related to

learning Experience of

supporting pupils through transition, reintegration or graduated return to

mainstream learning Experience of planning

for and delivering learning to pupils with SEND through personalised and

adapted curriculum pathways

Knowledge & Experience of teaching

Proven excellence in

classroom practice within the primary phase Secure understanding of the National Curriculum / EYFS Secure understanding

of assessment, moderation and the use of data to inform teaching and

intervention Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs Ability to manage behaviour positively and relationally Commitment to

evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning A commitment

to addressing equality and diversity positively, sensitively and

appropriately.

Commitment to
