We are delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic and experienced Class Tutors to join our growing team at Laurus Grace. We are seeking a number of individuals who are deeply committed to supporting young people with additional needs. The successful candidates will provide high-quality support within the classroom, working closely with subject teachers, and will assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to meet the individual needs of students. Laurus Grace is an Alternative Provision 11-16 Free School offering specialist provision for students with Social Communication and/or Social, Emotional, Emotion and/or Mental Health (SEMH) needs. When full, it will provide a high-quality educational provision for 80 students. We take an innovative approach to supporting students in their educational and personal development underpinning by the concept of unconditional positive regard. We follow the outstanding provision within our mainstream Trust secondary schools, to develop a high quality and ambitious curriculum offer to our students that aligns with our Trust Vision. Our ethos is built upon unconditional positive regard with the academic curriculum enriched through a restorative curriculum. This position is contracted on a 35 hours per week + 5 days Term Time Only basis . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
