About the role

An opportunity has arisen at Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form (KNGS) for an exceptional teacher of History to join us on a permanent basis, working 0.8 FTE. The post is available immediately or for a September start. KNGS is an OFSTED outstanding school and is part of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust with a comprehensive intake and a co-educational sixth form. We are proud of our vibrant, socially and culturally diverse school, which lies in the heart of our community, and is highly regarded in our local area and beyond. The post is available on a part time (0.8 FTE), permanent contract for a main or upper scale teacher. ECT applications are welcomed. The post is available either for an immediate start (working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) or from September 2026. Please note that the part-time working days for September will be confirmed during the summer term and that the working days may change in future years based on timetable need.
