St Edmunds Catholic Primary School are looking for an inspiring Teacher to join our happy
and successful school, to teach in Early Years or Key Stage One – please specify in your
application which area you would prefer to teach. We are looking appoint a teacher who is
ready and able to support the catholic nature of our school.

Your experience, qualities and skills should include: - Excellent classroom practise with high expectations, strong behaviour management
and the determination to see expectations met - A knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework or Key Stage One - Commitment to continually seek improvement and raise standards - Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in either EYFS or Key
Stage One - Experience in leading and having subject responsibility for the whole school would be
desirable - A developed understanding of early phonics, preferably with knowledge of The Little
Wandle scheme of work - Work with outside agencies including SEN specialists, students and parent
volunteers - Experience of safeguarding requirements
