We are seeking a Site Assistant to join our busy
and purposeful Estates team. Duties will
include supporting the smooth operation of the site, including keeping the site
clean and tidy, general repairs and maintenance work. The person we are seeking
can replace a broken socket, fix a leaking tap, repair a hole in a wall and
unblock a toilet. The successful candidate should: Have attained the basic level of secondary education and be literate and numerate Be able to form
to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people Have a commitment to, and belief in, the equal
value of all students Have knowledge of Health and Safety legislation to ensure operation within Health and Safety policies and guidelines Have excellent communication skills Have a knowledge of a range of DIY skills including general plumbing, glazing, painting and decorating, laying slabs, door fitting, fitting carpets and suspended ceilings Be able to work as part of a team Have a concern for quality and customer service Be efficient and organised Be willing to be flexible and adaptable Be able to work unsupervised
