Actual Annual Salary: £10,884 - £11,874 (Based on hours and working weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £31,954 - £34,860 (CLF Grade D). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time, 14 hours per week / Term Time Only Plus INSETS and 10 additional days in line with working pattern.

We are seeking an experienced, detail‑driven Data Manager to join Cabot Learning Federation’s Central Data Team on a permanent basis, based at City Academy Bristol. Reporting to the Senior Data Manager, you will work within a Cluster Data Team, providing high‑quality, responsive data support to academies within the allocated cluster. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective management, integrity and meaningful use of the Trust’s student and performance data. With a strong focus on the Trust’s MIS (Bromcom), you will work collaboratively with Central Data colleagues, academy leaders, teachers and professional services staff to deliver reliable reporting, statutory returns and insightful analysis. Your work will directly support improvement planning, accountability and data‑informed decision‑making, helping to improve outcomes for children and young people across the Trust. This is a varied, trust‑wide role within a collaborative, values‑driven multi‑academy trust. While physically based at City Academy Bristol, the postholder will support and cover academies across the assigned cluster, working flexibly as part of both the Central and Cluster Data Teams. About the role You will: Work as part of the Cluster Data Team, managing, maintaining and assuring the quality of accurate, secure and compliant student data across supported academies. Provide expert oversight and day‑to‑day administration of the Trust’s MIS (particularly Bromcom), ensuring effective configuration, permissions, data structures and consistent use. Lead on key academic year processes, including start‑ and end‑of‑year procedures, admissions and transitions, timetabling support and statutory census and data returns. Support academy leaders and teaching staff by providing timely, accurate and meaningful data to inform attainment tracking, progress monitoring, operational planning and strategic decision‑making. Deliver training, guidance, user documentation and responsive day‑to‑day support to improve confidence, capability and consistency in the use of data systems and processes. Ensure full compliance with GDPR, data protection legislation, retention schedules, FOI/SAR requirements and Trust policies, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of data at all times.
