We are a friendly and welcoming small entry primary school committed to providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for our pupils and staff. We take pride in our school community and are seeking a reliable and proactive caretaker to help maintain our premises to a high standard.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and trustworthy Caretaker to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the school site as required
Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general DIY tasks
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the school grounds
Monitoring health and safety across the site and reporting any issues
Liaising with contractors and overseeing works where necessary
Managing site security, including alarms and access
Supporting with setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events
