We’re looking for a caring, motivated Teaching Assistant – Level 3 to support a pupil with SEND and help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to a pupil with SEND, ensuring safety and access to learning.
Build positive, supportive relationships using a connection before correction approach.
Promote independence, confidence and positive interactions.
Assist teachers with adaptive teaching, preparing resources, and monitoring pupil progress.
Deliver structured learning activities and interventions, adapting to individual needs.
Support behaviour expectations and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom.
Use ICT to support learning and help pupils develop digital skills.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and school policies at all times.
Participate in training, meetings and occasional cover supervision.
Accompany pupils on school visits when required.
About You
Experience working with children with SEND (desirable).
Kind, patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive practice.
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
