We are looking for a dedicated and creative Teacher of Technology with a specialism in Food to join our vibrant Technology department at Chatham Grammar. The Role As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality curriculum that challenges students at all levels. From the foundational skills of Key Stage 3 to the rigorous demands of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, your lessons will balance technical theory with practical application. You will have the autonomy to develop innovative schemes of work that reflect contemporary food trends while maintaining a relentless focus on health, safety, and hygiene. Beyond the classroom, you will play a key role in the wider school community, contributing to extracurricular clubs, school events, and the pastoral care of students as a Personal Tutor. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a passionate practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a deep understanding of food science and nutrition.
