Deputy Headteacher Pastoral (Maternity Cover)

Our school is a place of possibilities and

chances of our students. We are now seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to

support and challenge us and our school leaders through the next stage of

improvement and growth.

We

are a thriving school with a strong focus on providing an excellent education

values. We are rated as Good by Ofsted and have seen a huge increase in the

number of families applying to join our school, which is now oversubscribed. Kings

Heath Secondary School is a maintained 11- 16 school with seven forms of entry.

We

want to empower every child to develop the attitudes and characteristics they

need to thrive in every aspect of their lives.

This will be a key role in school, leading our superb pastoral,

inclusion and SEN teams to ensure that we meet the individual needs of every

learner.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and it is the

positive community cohesion in our school which we celebrate. We have high expectations of our students in

terms of attendance, punctuality, effort and willingness to take an active role

in school life. School fosters a happy, caring environment where students

feel safe to achieve the very best they can. Strong partnerships exist between
