About the role

This role would particularly suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) in their second year or a teacher in the early stages of their teaching career. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to take responsibility for leading a foundation curriculum subject, with appropriate support. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic class teacher

at Waynflete Infants’ School who is creative and passionate about children’s

learning and has the desire and motivation to be an outstanding teacher. The successful applicant will be a creative, fun and dedicated KS1 teacher who brings

passion to their teaching and who will inspire and engage our children. Applicants should have recent experience of teaching in Key Stage One along with experience/knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, to ensure clear progression from EYFS into KS1 The school teaches phonics using the Read Write Inc programme and experience of using this scheme is essential. We also follow the White Rose Maths scheme and experience of this is highly desirable. Training will be supported where needed.
