Before and After school Club worker 22.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 7.15am - 8.45am and 3.45pm-5.45pm £12,749 per annum plus split shift based on FTE £24.796 About Us Located in Coventry CV5 7GXZ. About The Role As an Before and After school Club worker you’ll play a key role in helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our very popular Owls Club. Key responsibilities: The successful applicant will: Assist in the delivery of excellent creative and appropriate play opportunities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment by providing a programme of activities, services and facilities designed to meet individual needs. Provide full care for the children from Nursery to Year 6, including the handover of children to classrooms, collection of children from classrooms and the safe delivery to parents and/or carers. Assist in the preparation of nutritious and well-balanced snacks. Assist in ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the clubs facilities are maintained at all times. Work flexibly alongside other staff, parents or students. Administer first aid as appropriate We are looking for someone who: Has a good understanding of what makes good quality childcare. Has the ability to create and maintain excellent levels of behaviour. Has excellent communication skills. Is able to work a part of a team as well as using own initiative. Has the ability to provide creative play opportunities both inside and outside. Be proactive in ensuring the club has a clean and tidy environment. Is able to work both inside and outside.
