About the role

Finance Assistant Grade and Salary: Grade 3: £22,610 - £24,099 actual salary per annum (£26,403 - £28,142 FTE) Working pattern: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks (TTO plus inset days) Contract term: Permanent The School: Allestree Woodlands School offers a broad curriculum at all key stages and has a thriving Sixth Form. The role: We are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join our friendly administration team here at Allestree Woodlands School. You will be responsible for efficiently managing the schools responsibility for purchase and sales ledger, school fund and petty cash. You will also be responsible for the monitoring of the purchasing card activity. You will be working closely with the central finance function to support the smooth operation of finance within the school in line with our service level agreement. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc administration support to the Office Team, including reception lunch break cover. The person: The successful candidate will possess a number of abilities including but not limited to strong attention to detail and a keen eye for ensuring accuracy. You will be highly organised and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as being confident working with numbers and processing. Why join us?
