Qualified Teacher Status or ECT A first degree or equivalent in MFL allied to specialist teaching subject(s) Development of pedagogical approaches in MFL that secure best learning experiences and outcomes for students Development of teaching and learning - working with Teaching and Learning Leadership Team. Supporting teacher learning and school to school activities. Demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to influence beyond the class and department Teaching experience Setting challenging and ambitious targets for students and helping them to achieve them. Developing relevant strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning in your subject Being responsible for the educational progress of students in your own teaching groups Commitment to continuing professional development and awareness of your own training needs Creativity, originality, ability to think and act innovatively Excellent communication skills using a range of media including IT Commitment to inclusive education In sympathy with the aims and values of a Church school. Practising Catholic or member of another Christian faith community Ability to work as a member of a team and independently Able to demonstrate the principles and practice of effective learning and teaching Able to contribute to second subject teaching / cross-curricular / enrichment work Good role model, professional manner and appearance Record of excellent attendance and punctuality The potential of ICT for learning and for effective administration Awareness of national developments in your own subject Role of your own subject in relation to the social, moral, spiritual and cultural development of the whole child.
