As a three-form entry school, you will be leading a fabulous team of dedicated professionals both within Nursery and Reception. We want a team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, who brings creativity, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of high‑quality early years pedagogy. We are looking for someone who: Is an experienced and passionate EYFS practitioner/previous EYFS leader. Has a clear, ambitious and research‑informed vision for Early Years. Has a track record which demonstrates consistently strong practice and impact. Has a passion for ensuring that every child has the best possible start to their education. Relates well to pupils, staff and parents, building outstanding relationships, showing a deep level of care about their individual needs. Is outward‑facing and committed to establishing strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community. Will develop and resource an aspirational environment, indoors and out, that supports the learning, independence and curiosity of every child. Can create stimulating learning environments in which children feel secure, valued and ready to learn. Can provide our children with high‑quality, memorable and language‑rich learning opportunities. Can bring learning alive in well‑planned and effective learning sequences which inspire, captivate and build on what children already know and can do. Can support our children to become resilient learners who thrive on challenge and develop strong characteristics of effective learning. Values all children; has high expectations and a commitment to the development of the whole child. Can motivate, inspire and develop a team, modelling high expectations and professional integrity.
