We are looking to appoint a confident, calm and experienced administration assistant to join our busy and supportive Student Support team. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar position and be confident working in a pupil facing role. The Role Reporting to the Assistant Headteachers (Pastoral Care, Behaviour and Safeguarding), the purpose of the role is: - Supporting the Assistant Headteachers (Pastoral and Safeguarding) with excellent administration and organisation in order that they can provide the highest possible standard of professional leadership and maintain a positive profile both inside and outside the school - Support with safeguarding and student wellbeing issues, including supervising pupils in internal exclusion Full time/part time : The role is part-time - working 37 hours per week, term time (38 weeks) plus insets (39 weeks per year) Annual Leave paid : 5.6 weeks per year - to be taken in school holidays Hours : 37 hours per week 8am-4pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 3.30pm on Fridays - flexibility required Grade : H4, SCP 6-9 - current annual rates £25,989 - £27,254 (inclusive of £729 fringe allowance) - paid pro-rata for 45.6 weeks per year (over 12 monthly payments) Deadline for applications: Monday 4th May at midnight Interview Date : Friday 8th May 2026 State Date : May/June 2026 The School’s latest Ofsted inspection in November 2023 rated Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School as ‘Outstanding’.
